Cape Coral Pool with Raised Spa and Caribbean Blue Finish
Completed in May 2026, this Cape Coral project pairs a 14 by 26 foot pool with a 6 foot interior diameter spa raised 18 inches. The 25 by 39 foot deck and screen area uses Tremron Ultra Combo pavers in Sierra, while a Caribbean Blue PebbleTec interior and a 7 by 7 foot sun shelf with a standard bubbler give the compact backyard a clear mix of swimming, spa, and shallow lounging space.
The project demonstrates how much function can be built into a relatively efficient footprint. The pool is not oversized, yet it includes a raised spa and a substantial sun shelf without sacrificing the main body of water or the surrounding deck.
Fitting Multiple Uses into a Compact Footprint
At 14 by 26 feet, the pool needed to use its dimensions carefully. A 7 by 7 foot sun shelf occupies a meaningful portion of the shallow end, so its placement had to leave enough open water for the pool to remain comfortable for swimming and everyday use.
The 6 foot spa is raised 18 inches, which gives it visual separation from the pool without requiring a larger footprint. That elevation also creates a clear focal point within the 25 by 39 foot screened area.
The surrounding deck remains large enough for circulation and furniture, which is critical on a more compact project. The goal is not to maximize the pool shell at the expense of everything around it, but to create a backyard that works as a whole.
Materials and Features
Tremron Ultra Combo pavers: Ultra Combo pavers in Sierra create a warm, textured deck surface that works well within the smaller screened outdoor area.
Caribbean Blue PebbleTec: The Caribbean Blue interior gives the pool a stronger water color and provides contrast against the Sierra pavers.
Raised spa: The 6 foot interior diameter spa sits 18 inches above the pool, adding a separate relaxation area and the main change in elevation within the design.
Seven by seven foot sun shelf: The sun shelf is large enough to function as a true shallow lounging zone rather than only an entry step.
Standard bubbler: A bubbler adds movement to the sun shelf without introducing a larger water feature that would compete for space or attention.
The Finished Cape Coral Pool
The finished pool feels complete because the available space was divided intentionally. The spa, sun shelf, open water, and deck each have enough room to serve their purpose without making the backyard feel crowded.
The Caribbean Blue interior gives the water visual depth, while the Sierra pavers keep the surrounding space warm and comfortable. The bubbler adds a small amount of movement where it is most useful, on the shallow shelf closest to everyday lounging.
For us, this is a good example of why custom design matters even on smaller footprints. A few inches in the wrong place can change how the whole backyard functions, so proportion is just as important here as it is on a much larger pool.
