Babcock Ranch Pool with Fire and Water Bowls and Raised Spa
This Babcock Ranch project uses a 21 foot 6 inch by 32 foot pool, a 6 foot interior diameter spa raised 18 inches, marble decking, glass tile, and a White Diamonds Pebble Sheen finish. Two 31 inch copper fire and water bowls sit on Ledgestone columns raised 12 inches, while Pentair ColorVision LED bubblers add another layer of movement and lighting within the pool.
The pool has several statement features, but the design remains disciplined. The raised spa anchors one portion of the pool, the paired copper bowls create symmetry, and the lighter marble deck gives the water and stonework room to stand out.
Creating a Strong Centerline
With a pool this wide, the challenge is not creating enough visual interest. It is deciding where that interest should be concentrated. The paired fire and water bowls establish a clear rhythm across the pool, while the raised spa provides a separate focal point without disrupting that balance.
The rectangular footprint keeps the overall shape simple, which is important when several elevated features are already present. That simplicity gives the bowls, spa, and water movement a cleaner backdrop and prevents the backyard from feeling overdesigned.
A two pump system supports the pool and spa functions while providing the flexibility needed for the additional water features. The mechanical layout is not the part homeowners see, but it plays an important role in how well a feature rich pool functions day to day.
Materials and Features

Raised spa: The 6 foot interior diameter spa is elevated 18 inches above the pool, giving it its own presence while keeping it visually connected to the main body of water.
Marble pool deck: The marble deck provides a lighter, quieter surface around the pool, which helps balance the stronger texture of the Ledgestone and the darker tones created by the water.
White Diamonds Pebble Sheen: White Diamonds Pebble Sheen creates a bright interior that works well with the marble and keeps the pool feeling open even with several raised elements around it.
ColorVision LED bubblers: Pentair ColorVision LED bubblers add subtle motion and color within the pool itself, complementing the larger fire and water features rather than competing with them.
Sun shelf: A sun shelf gives the pool a shallow area for lounging and another way to enjoy the water beyond swimming, positioned so it reads as part of the layout rather than competing with the raised features at the far end.
The Finished Babcock Ranch Pool
The completed pool has two distinct personalities. In daylight, the marble, light pool finish, glass tile, and Ledgestone create a layered but neutral material palette. At night, the copper fire bowls and LED bubblers introduce warmth, movement, and color.
That day to night transition is one of the strongest parts of the project. The design does not depend on the fire features to look finished, but they add a completely different atmosphere when the backyard is used in the evening.
