Babcock Ranch Infinity Edge Pool with Raised Spa and Marble Decking
Finished in 2025, this Babcock Ranch pool was built around a 15 by 30 foot layout with a 6 foot interior diameter spa, an elevated deck area, and a 24 foot infinity edge. Marble decking, glass tile, artificial turf, a sun shelf, and a Caribbean Blue PebbleTec finish give the backyard a polished look while keeping the long infinity edge as the defining feature.
This is a project where the elevation changes do much of the design work. The infinity edge establishes a strong horizontal line, while the raised spa and elevated deck create additional levels within the outdoor space. Those changes make the backyard feel more dimensional without requiring a complicated pool shape.
Building the Design Around the Infinity Edge
At 24 feet long, the infinity edge extends across a significant portion of the pool and becomes the feature the eye naturally follows. Keeping the pool itself rectangular allows that edge to read clearly rather than competing with curves or multiple changes in direction.
The raised spa and elevated deck area add a second layer to the composition. Instead of placing every surface on one plane, the design creates a gradual sense of elevation around the water.
